Rachel Martin

Rachel Martin is an award-winning agricultural journalist and editor of the Irish Examiner’s weekly farming supplement, where she specialises in writing about agri-technology (Agtech), sustainability, and dairy. From a beef and dairy background in Northern Ireland, she is interested in ideas that support a sustainable, profitable, and vibrant agricultural sector, drawing on her background as a business reporter at the Belfast Telegraph.

Rachel is also is a board member of the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ) and currently sits on the organisation’s Professional Development and Freedom of the Press committees.

At Fields Good, she will be chairing the ‘Mix It, Market It and Sell It’ horticulture panel in the Riverside marquee at 1pm. Speakers include Fergal Smith from Moyhill Farm, Michael Rauch from Four Leaf Farm, and Rob Kennedy and Sean Gilligan from Knocknarea Farm.
