About Andrew Sincock

Andrew Sincock is a first-generation tenant farmer from Monmouthshire and the Director of Agriton UK and Agro‑Vital UK, bringing a powerful blend of hands-on experience and entrepreneurial drive to the soil health space.  A 2023 Nuffield Farming Scholar, Andrew’s global research, sponsored by McDonald’s UK & Ireland, has focused on unlocking the value of organic manures and composting systems like Bokashi and vermicomposting.

At Fields Good’s Soil Health HQ marquee, Andrew will demonstrate Bokashi composting, offering deeply practical guidance on how to convert farm generated waste into nutrient rich compost, while exploring the complex microbial science that drives soil fertility. His insights from podcasts like Farming Focus and AgriCulture Live underscore his strength in making microbiology and manure management both approachable and action ready. Andrew also co-hosts a new podcast titled Farming 4.0 (sometimes stylised “Farming Four Point Oh”). He launched the show alongside his co-host Ed Brown about three months ago. In each episode, they explore future-focused agricultural practices, technologies, and science with guests from around the world

At Fields Good, Andrew will be participating in the discussion panel “Slurry Solutions to Prevent Nutrient Loss to Watercourses”. Expect a session packed with know‑how on using biochar in slurry.
