FAQ’s

Where is Fields Good going to be held?

The Sheddings, 64 Munie Road, Glenarm. This is part of the Glenarm estate and is not located in the main grounds but along the glen. There is a single-track road into the venue, please drive slowly as animals will be grazing in the surrounding fields and other traffic will be using the same road as an exit.

Where can I stay?
Why don’t we have the programme complete yet?

Well, we do, and we don’t! As we confirm speakers, we will be updating our programme continuously. But to give you an idea we’ll be covering soil, farmer finance, grazing management, organic manures, horticulture, agroforestry, the nutrient density of foods and how farming can affect that. We’ll have fields walks and lots of demos on composting, KNF, making your own foliar fertiliser, grazing infrastructure and more.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Yes, feel free to bring your own food and drink. The site will have local food vendors and The Shedding will open a bar from lunchtime to 11pm.

Is there camping on site? Can I bring my own camper van?

Yes, there is an allocated camping area, and you are welcome to bring your camper van. Please note there is no electrical hook up on site. Tent camping will also be in this area. Purchase camping on Eventbrite along with your ticket.

There is a small shower and washroom area on site for campers.

Can I bring my dog?

No, sorry this is a working farm, with sheep and cattle in the surrounding fields.

Can I get a refund?

Because we’re a small festival with a tiny team of 2 organisers, we’re trying to limit risk and admin. If you cancel a month or more prior, we’ll refund your money, less the booking fee. After that it gets tricky, and we’d prefer you tried to transfer your ticket to someone else or if we have a waitlist, we may be able to help. From a fortnight prior, that process might become too tricky, so no guarantees.

Is there WIFI on site?

4G is available but can be very limited at ties due to the location in the glen. Unplug and enjoy yourself!

What are the parking arrangements?

Parking is free on site. You will be directed into the car park on arrival. It is in a field, so it is vital you follow the guys’ directions for parking to make it flow well when folk are leaving.

What To Pack

Although we were lucky with the weather last year, we recommend wearing wellies or waterproof shoes – you’ll be walking on grass for most of the day. A waterproof coat is a good idea in case the weather turns. If you’re staying into the evening, make sure to bring some extra warm layers.

Festival Volunteer Info

Want to be part of the magic behind the scenes at this year’s Fields Good festival? We’re looking for volunteers to join us and help make this event unforgettable!
Whether you’re passionate about farming, growing, food, or just love being part of the experience, we’ve got a role for you. Plus, volunteering comes with perks!

We are looking for people to help with entry ticket checks, microphone handling during question times in talks, clean up the following morning, campsite emergency contact, feedback questionnaires etc. Some roles may be just an hour of your time or a few hours over the day. We can offer you a free ticket and if you commit to more hours, some free food and drink!

Please email contact@fieldsgood.co.uk to sign up.
