About Daniel Sloane
Daniel Sloane works within the poultry sector, specialising in research and development, with experience in technical research, project design and working collaboratively with industry stakeholders to drive innovation and sustainability.
Originally from Killylea, Co. Armagh, Daniel studied agriculture at CAFRE before continuing his studies at Queen’s University Belfast. Alongside his professional work, he is actively involved in representing the next generation of agriculture. Daniel is a member of Collone YFC, serves as vice chair of the YFCU Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs Committee and is also a member of the Ulster Farmers’ Union Next Generation Committee.
Through both his industry and Young Farmers involvement, Daniel has a particular interest in innovation, collaboration and ensuring young people have a voice in shaping the future of agriculture.
