About Paul Allison

Paul Allison farms 400 acres in Weardale Co. Durham with Mrs Allison (who is not actually called Mrs Allison). The farming is organic beef, sheep, hens and a bit of arable. He is also a part time agroecology researcher at Newcastle University. He contributes to the cult science and farming podcast “Cows and Effect”, which primarily showcases the talents of the erudite, charming and classically handsome Mr Michael Blanche.

As podcast listeners will be aware, Paul has a side line doing contract work. It has been suggested that Paul is a very special boy, but he prefers to believe that he is just able to hyperfocus on the task in front of him and not think about anything else, particularly other people’s feelings, in a very normal way.
