About Ruth Bleakley

Ruth took ownership of her home farm back in 2015 where a strong focus is placed on quality livestock and sustainable farming practices. The farm is home to 6000 organic laying hens, producing high-quality organic eggs, alongside a herd of 70 pedigree Beef Shorthorn cattle under the Ballaghneed Shorthorns prefix.

With a commitment to animal welfare, careful breeding, and environmental stewardship, the farm combines traditional farming values with modern, sustainable production. Ballaghneed Shorthorns are bred for their excellent genetics, temperament, and performance, reflecting the farm’s dedication to producing quality pedigree livestock.
