Since 2014, his team has been helping farmers, growers, agronomists, and land managers across Europe understand the life beneath their feet, providing deep insights into the bacterial, fungal, protozoa, and nematode communities that drive soil health .

A passionate educator and practitioner, Simon’s work bridges testing and application—drawing on his research collaborations with leading organic certification bodies to help farmers translate microbiology into practical, low-cost strategies for improving soil health.
